Export Rebate Rates of 3486 Commodities to Rise

Export rebate rates of part of labor-intensive, state-of-the-art and high added-valued commodities has been adopted by the State Council and decided by the Ministry of Finance and State Taxation Administration, as of 1 November 2008, to properly rise.

The adjustment of export rebate rates is involved in a total of 3486 commodities, about accounting for 25.8% of the overall commodities of the customs tariff. What specifically prescribed are: to raise the export rebate rate of part of fabrics, clothing and toys to 14%; to lift the export rebate rate of daily and art potteries to 11%; to raise the export rebate rate of part of plastic products to 9%; to raise the export rebate rates of furniture to 11% and 13% respectively; to lift the export rebate rates of such commodities as AIDS drugs, gene recombinant human insulin powder, yellow collagen, toughened safety glass, tantalum wire for capacitor, marine anchor chain, sewing machine, fans and carbide cutter tool for numerical control machine to 9%, 11%, and 13% respectively.
